“DDE were recently employed to undertake the demolition/dismantling of a redundant gravity settler based within our Waste Water Treatment Facility.

The settler was physically located in the body of the WWTF in very close proximity to operational plant and equipment. In addition to the above, the WWTF is required 24/7 and therefore demolition of the settler needed to be undertaken with the plant in full operation. This demanded very precise dismantling/demolition activities to be undertaken to minimise site disruption.

DDE working in conjunction with William Blythe site engineering personnel created detailed Risk Assessments and Method Statement to reflect the physical restraints imposed by the task.

Throughout the entire project from initial mobilisation to the site clearance at the end of the project, DDE worked in full compliance with the RAMS and provided visible management and supervision of the work at all time liaising with WB site management whenever required.

DDE complied fully with all site HS&E rules and delivered the project on time on budget and without any incidents and the site was returned in a safe and clean state.

DDE have been added to the William Blythe list of Approved Suppliers and will be considered for all future work of a similar nature.”

“DDE carried out the removal of three redundant horizontal steel tanks in September of 2019 from Veolia’s site in Aldridge, West Midlands.

The work was carried out within the timeframe and costs quoted, there were no Health, Safety or Environmental incidents during the project and the operatives on site were competent and professional at all times.

DDE offered a cost effective solution to the removal of the tanks utilising their experience and knowledge within the industry.
